I will be having a light dinner, no dessert and watching a sweet valentines movie I recorded from the Hallmark Channel and saved for tonight. I sent flowers to my ex-sister-in-law to let her know that she was always in my heart and appreciated and e-cards to family and friends. I always love an occasion to let others know how much they are appreciated. Sounds like you have a lovely evening planned. Happy Valentines Day to you.
Enjoy your dinner and movie. I’m sorry you won’t have the opportunity to spend your day with loved ones. I think it is great you are staying in touch with your ex sister-in-law so many people divorce not only their spouse but the entire family they came to love.
She is my first husbands sister. We have been close for 45 years. I was able to keep the entire family except the mother-in-law. She died a year after my ex. They all understood why and I always made sure my children were given time with them. Now the second husbands family, losing them is all good..for my health. Life is good now and alone is necessary.

That’s a nice too. The dessert was delicious but I won’t do that for a long time! There is so much sugar in it and I haven’t had sugar in a while end result is that I couldn’t fall asleep and felt yucky.

I spent my day as you know in the allotment.. No cards or flowers, just lots of Fun and Laughter as we had Muck up to our elbows! LOL
If it were warmer here Valentine’s Day would have involved time outdoors in the garden or field playing in the dirt myself and probably with family as the little ones hate when they miss helping.
